The Mirandola Ensemble, a professional vocal chamber ensemble specializing in Renaissance-period works, is seeking SOPRANO and ALTO applicants to begin in 2018.
The Mirandola Ensemble was founded in 2011, and is led by Artistic Director and tenor Nicholas Chalmers. Other ensemble members are Angela Grundstad (soprano), Clara Osowski (alto), Andrew Kane (baritone), and Matthew Culloton (bass).
Prospective members of the ensemble should have top-tier music reading skills, vocal flexibility, and a love of early music performance. Previous small ensemble experience is appreciated, but not required. All applicants are expected to research The Mirandola Ensemble at the group’s website: http://www.themirandolaensemble.org.
Applicants will be asked to upload the following items:
- A Vocal/Choral Resume (up to 2 pages). Include at least 2 professional references that we may contact on your behalf. Submit as a PDF.
- Performance Headshot. Submit as a JPG.
- Performance Audio: Art Song #1
- Performance Audio: Art Song #2 or similar vocal representation
